Creating the best media platform for the Network Technology industry

Juniper Networks is an American multinational corporation developing and marketing networking products and software to the Tech industry.

Due the pandemic, the company moved away from in person events and started to host all the Global Tech events on a 3rd party platform. Tech Talks, Product Demos and Keynotes by industry Business Leaders and Engineers were all now available to access via Youtube, Spotify, Soundcloud and the company website. The wide range of multimedia content across multiple external platforms created a very fragmented user experience.

The Marketing department  wanted to a new content experience that showcases all the Technology multimedia content in one place, with the future vision to grow the content overtime, allowing the audience to search content based on industry topics.

Analysed content on Juniper’s multiple platforms with a lean audit

Uncovering hidden content separate across multiples sites and resurfacing them to the forefront of the audience with a clear content strategy.

Aligned with stakeholders on key user journeys from content to marketing sales funnel

Assessed user flows for the best-gated content experience strategy to use. Collaborated with stakeholders to choose the best approach for content access for users.

Designing by templates first, increase flexibility and provide consistency across the project.

Defining the website structure with templates will save time during the design process and unify the design system.

Using content strategy to define design templates and components

Understanding the content allows me to understand what types of content would be on the media portal and what essential components needed to be designed for the Design System.

Stress testing components with existing content to ensure content growth in the future
